I think I will always be attracted to some elements of grunge. Whether it is the embracing of androgyny, thrift shop aesthetic or the loose-layered look that you can hide behind, something about it always catches my eye. I can definitely relate, as I’ve never been one to dress very flashy, so this style ensemble has always inspired me. I would be lying if I said I don’t have a go-to camo jacket and a (very!) worn out pair of studded loafers. GL: UGGs, definitely. Crocs, those high-wasted “extra-cheeky” shorts.
CF: Where do you usually shop?
GL: Urban Outfitters or Buffalo Exchange.

GL: Gwen Stefani, definitely.
CF: What will you be wearing a lot this summer?
GL: High-waisted shorts, maxi skirts, maxi dresses and maybe some Hawaiian print.
How To: To begin channeling your inner grungy material girl, start with your first layer, a loose gray tee and jeans to keep it simple and comfortable.
